Earl Woods Scholars Class of 2016 honored at workshop

The annual Winter Workshop has arrived, as Earl Woods Scholars gather for a special end-of-year event, December 21-22, to congratulate the senior class and develop important career preparation skills. The two-day workshop brings scholars together from around the country to prepare for the next step in their journey through mock interviews, resume reviews, and sessions on internship etiquette and LinkedIn profiles, to name a few. Scholars will also enjoy plenty of laughs and bonding, not to mention a social etiquette lunch!

An annual highlight of the event, family members and supporters gathered Monday to honor the Class of 2016 during a special luncheon. Every senior had the opportunity to speak and guests were teary-eyed listening to the stories of struggle and defeat, triumph and growth. These individuals have overcome great odds and we are so proud of our champions!
