Join the Tiger Woods Learning Center at our Career and College Conference focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). It will be a half day of hands-on, specialized instruction, offering a range of career and college preparation workshops for middle and high school students, their parents and educators. Come learn more about various industries in these fields and discover possible career paths.
Parents and educators are invited to attend and learn how to support students in their desire to pursue college for a STEM career. There will be a customized track of concurrent workshops for students and bilingual sessions in both English and Spanish for parents and educators. Workshops will provide valuable information, including:
- Preparing for math and science careers
- College admission preparation
- Writing letters of recommendation
- Pathways in computer science
- Researching financial aid/applying for scholarships
