Junior Golf Team The Tiger Woods Foundation is pleased to announce the 2009 Tiger Woods Foundation National Junior Golf Team (TWFNJGT) that will represent the Foundation at the Callaway Junior World Junior Golf Championships in July.
Based on the limited number of exemptions per age division per gender the Foundation receives, many of the team members that have applied and met the requirements will be asked to qualify on their own. As members qualify, their names will be added to the team roster.
All members are required to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, complete a minimum of 40 hours of community/volunteer service per year, have an active competitive tournament history and receive a character reference from their school principal/dean.
Each of the members below has exceeded these requirements including 15 of the 23 members having a 4.0 GPA or higher (weighted GPA based on 4.0 scale). The Tiger Woods Foundation is proud to support such excellent role models.
